I try my best to avoid The Challenge spoilers but I always end up looking. Apparently, I can’t control myself. Here are a few things that are rumored about the next Challenge season to be filmed, season 37.
First things first, location. According to the Twitter account @gamervev, The Challenge 37 could take place in Croatia. So not as cold as Iceland. I hope they pick somewhere tropical next I’m kind of over the cold Europe vibe.
Aside from the rookies (I have no idea who they are), I feel like I’m having deja vu on the speculation thread.
It looks like Johnny Bananas and Wes are not in the equation for season 37, but we shall see.
The veterans that are rumored to be coming back are for The Challenge Season 37 are:
Nany Gonzalez, Nelson Thomas, Amanda Garcia, Nam Vo, Tori Deal, Devin Walker, Liv Jawando, Fessy Shafaat, Ashley Mitchell, Cory Wharton, Big T, Josh Martinez, Kaycee Clark, Aneesa Ferreira, CT, and Kyle Christie.
Immediately after looking at this, my reaction is that I feel like season 37 may be great for Cory, and who I really want to see come back is Jordan. The Tori breakup storyline and with Fessy there too, I mean it would be epic. I also have always admired Jordan for his determination and heart. I’d also like to see Cara come back at one point.
And in a more general sense, I think if they want to profile the rookies more, they may want to make next season a Fresh Meat or something like that. These types of seasons have worked really well in the past at giving rookies more clout. In my opinion, rookies lately have not really made an impact as characters as much as in the past. But that’s my opinion. Either way, I’ll be watching The Challenge season 37.
