Sister Wives’ Christine’s Explosive Juicy Scoop Interview – Top 8 Best Moments

Christine from Sister Wives was interviewed on the podcast Juicy Scoop by Heather McDonald! I love that podcast and I’ll just say it – Heather’s a better interviewer than Suki by a mile!

Loved this interview, and here are my top 8 revelations from Christine’s interview with Juicy Scoop:

1. Christine’s Mom Knew Better

Christine says that her mom didn’t want her to be in a plural marriage but she only found that out after she left Kody. Her mom as some of you know had left polygamy when Christine was 19, but she always seemed supportive of Christine being wife number three to Kody. Her mom recently admitted that she was heartbroken when Christine married Kody and didn’t think that she would thrive in it at all. 

2. Kody Can’t Admit He Loved Christine

Christine says that she and David had a conversation that morning about the fact that it’s weird how Kody cannot admit that he used to love Christine, but clearly, he did. Instead of saying ‘I was a bad husband to Christine’ and taking some ownership, he is fixated on saying he never loved her. Christine says that she feels like he did love her.

3. Robyn’s Couple

Robyn kept referring to couples in the family. She told Christine that she and Kody were a couple and Christine told her at the time ‘no we’re not couples we’re a family’. So I guess Robyn saw things differently from the jump. Christine saw her role as trying to make everyone happy in the family. She said her role as a wife was secondary to her. It was about the big picture.

4. Kody Showed Up at 6pm

Christine said that before Robyn, she wasn’t jealous. She didn’t mind when Kody was with the other wives and she liked it when he was with her, too. Kody was fairer with his time then, it’s afterward that she had much more of a problem with it. She says that Kody always says that he was very fair with his time – we all don’t believe it of course – and she says he did go to her house on her nights but after 6 pm. That’s not the whole day and they would see his car at Robyn’s. Christine would get so mad in the cul de sac because it was a Saturday on her day and he was not working so why wasn’t he with her the whole day? 

5. Ysabel

Christine confirmed again that the straw that broke the camel’s back was the fact that he didn’t come to Ysabel’s surgery, which was major because he said he couldn’t leave his family for that long, and Ysabel saw that and said are we not his family? 

6. Intimate Details

And then Christine opened up about intimacy with Kody we’ve never heard anything about this ever, because historically this was off limits with them on the show, and we learn that basically for those who wanted to know this Christine and Kody were intimate roughly like 5 times a year before kody said he’s just not interested in doing that anymore.

7. Robyn’s Off Camera Talk

Christine’s response to Robyn wanting an off-camera conversation to let her know they want them to be happy is that she said ‘Robyn wants us to go, your Majesty, you may have him now’. And it’s never going to happen.

8. More Wives

And something I did not know is that before Robyn on and off they would talk about maybe having another wife. A couple of women wanted to join the family, one of them wanted Kody alone so that wasn’t gonna work for them, and for one of them it was all going fine but just ended. Not sure what happened there. So a little bit of history there I guess they were more open to a new wife than I thought initially.
