Sister Wives Cast Update January 2024

This is my Sister Wives update for January 2024. There’s big news this month for the cast of Sister Wives – let’s talk about what’s new with Meri, Christine, Janelle, Kody, Robyn, and some of the kids.

Kody’s Low Self-Esteem

Let’s start with the fact that Kody Brown told People Magazine he’s been rebuilding his self-esteem “because it destroys your confidence when you go through a divorce or a family breakup”. Do you know what also destroys your confidence? When your husband who you’ve had 6 kids with tells you he’s not attracted to you. That is what will make someone lose self-confidence.

Christine’s Skittles Shade

Christine and David struck again and threw subtle shade at Kody this month, by holding up beer and Skittles in a picture about getting snacks for the Nascar race. This is a clear reference to Kody saying multiple times that polygamy is not all beer and Skittles. This is just gold.

Christine’s two-part wedding special aired this month and while watching the first episode Christine posted on Instagram about how Mykelti was the first of her kids to accept David. The post got backlash and the trolls came out of their caves on that one! We learned more about that when Christine and David randomly showed up at Mykelti’s house when she was live on her Patreon. We learned that David was pissed at the terrible comments about Mykelti on Christine’s Instagram post and they turned off the comments.

Christine and Truely and some of David’s family went to medieval times as a fun family activity this month. Overall Christine is thriving in 2024.

Janelle

Janelle has been on the go while Meri and Christine are galavanting with their new partners or new loves, she had a whole family trip to North Carolina over the holidays with so many of her kids and grandkids. In early January Janelle and Savanah went to their happy place Disney World. It was terrible weather.

After delaying for years Janelle also went to get her mammogram appointment done and went on Instagram to wonder to herself why she delayed that appointment for so long.

Meri’s New Love

And Meri, well maybe Meri has the biggest news of all. Her new boyfriend Amos. On her birthday, she decided to reveal to the world that they had been dating since the fall and they’re smitten kittens. Based on a Q&A they did on Meri’s Instagram, he’s been married either 3 or 4 times, and he likes forest green, hockey, and Christmas. Not sure if he had kids I’m going to assume yes. Amos also gets along with Meri’s new dog. Anyway we’re all happy for Meri, but the fact that he’s been married so many times before kind of makes me worry for Meri a little bit.

Meri also celebrated her birthday by riding a bull at a restaurant. Happy birthday Meri, the Capricorn.
