Savanah’s Awkward Graduation & Family Tensions on Sister Wives

The recent graduation ceremony of Savanah Brown, the youngest daughter of Janelle and Kody from Sister Wives, was a happy occasion but also made super obvious the strained relationships within the family.

Divided Groups at Graduation

It’s obvious from the pictures that there were two distinct groups at the graduation. In one corner Kody, who made an appearance with bouncy curls, showed his support for his daughter on her special day. It’s not sure if Robyn was present at the graduation. Meanwhile, the other group was people in the family who have a super strained relationship with Kody for various reasons. Gwendolyn, known for expressing her views on her YouTube channel, has openly called him manipulative and expressed her dislike of Robyn. It’s not even clear if Kody will even attend her upcoming wedding. Tensions have also been very high between Kody and his sons Garrison and Gabriel. Their relationship is full of anger and resentment from both sides. And Janelle of course is recently separated from Kody. Let’s call this group team Christine.

Missing Family Picture

One of the biggest signs of trouble is probably that they didn’t take a family picture with Janelle, Kody, and Savanah together. In the past, Christine and Kody took a similar picture with their daughter Ysabel, even when their relationship was really struggling. This picture is usually a must-do thing, but without it, it shows that maybe things are in a very bad place.

Janelle’s Implied Message

Janelle posted a caption with the graduation pictures that hinted that things are different. She disabled comments on the post, potentially to avoid the obvious comments about Kody. Her caption mentioned that Savanah’s graduation was different from previous graduations. She also shared her plans to organize a party for Savanah in Utah, where most of her siblings will be.
