Jill Duggar’s Tell-All, Jed Reacts

Jill Duggar (now Dillard), known for growing up on the reality show “Counting On,” is about to rock the boat with the Duggar family. In her upcoming memoir book called “Counting the Cost,” Jill says she wants to expose the secrets, lies, manipulation, and greed that she claims have affected her family. Jill has been on a journey and in the post announcing her book she said:

“Thanks to time, tears, truth, and therapy, God has begun to heal our wounds into scars.  Though we would have never chosen this path, and it has cost us dearly, we want to use our voice to show others that there is hope beyond the pain”.

I’m shocked because it looked like Jill was just starting to reconcile with her sisters and family recently.

Different than Jinger’s Book

Jill’s tell-all book will likely be very different from her sister Jinger’s book, which toed the line around sensitive content as if she didn’t want to upset her family. Jill’s memoir is expected to offer a juicier, more explosive behind-the-scenes story about the Duggars. And Derick’s involvement is clear, I mean he’s on the cover.

Jed Reacts

Nobody wants a tell-all written about them, including Jed likely who replied to a comment under Jill’s big announcement. It seemed like Jed was triggered by a comment that said something to the effect of he wasn’t a real Christian. You’d think that the Duggars would be used to online trolls but here we are.

No Likes

The initial response from the Duggar family seemed not supportive of the book, but it’s impossible to know what they really feel, none of the siblings liked Jill’s announcement post on Instagram. The comment section was polarized between fans who accused Jill of betraying her parents and those who rallied behind her.

Jill has a right to speak her truth and make a huge profit from it. She took an opportunity and it’s with a huge publishing company so she is probably going to, I’m assuming, really benefit from this financially.
