This post is for everyone who’s ever wondered, what’s Kody Brown’s job? How can Kody, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn support so many kids? Their family is huge, and many of us struggle to support two or three kids!
In season one (ahem..back when the family looked functional) Kody alluded to the fact that he worked in ad sales, and he may have previously worked as a salesman for a sign shop. But since becoming a reality TV star, Kody Brown definitely does not work in sales anymore.
According to reports, Sister Wives reportedly brings in about $400 000 a year for Kody and the wives. Sister Wives has aired 15 seasons, so they’ve earned millions! The bottom line is, they’re making a lot of money by appearing on Sister Wives and it makes it worthwhile for them to continue airing out their family drama.
Let’s also not forget that Kody and the wives published a New York Times bestseller called Becoming Sister Wives. It’s still being sold on Amazon to this day.
Did I mention Kody also has a Cameo? Yes, seriously! Kody’s net worth according to celeb net worth is $800,000. Kody may not have a typical 9-5, but he’s still making a decent income.
In terms of additional side hustles, Meri owns her own bed and breakfast in Parwan, Utah. It’s named after her great-grandmother and the opportunity came through a chance meeting. The bed and breakfast even sells merchandise like artwork, jam, and mugs.
Meri also sells clothes for Lularoe. She sells Lularoe clothing on Facebook live and she’s quite good at it.
Christine sells Lularoe like Meri and is also involved in selling makeup by Younique and Kendra Scott jewelry.
Janelle and Maddie sell Plexus’ pink drink. Janelle also has her real estate license, but it’s unclear if she is an active real estate agent.
And of course, how can we not talk about Robyn’s infamous My Sisterwife’s Closet! Robyn’s online jewelry, and clothing shop. Currently, it says on the website that they are busy updating the store for you. Hopefully, the site is up by November when season 16 begins!
